- Spring Trap immediately causes casualties to the first person steps on it. Spring Trap can toss 15 soldiers (eg 15 or 3 Giant Archer).
- Spring Trap cannot push PEKKA because PEKKA wears heavy armor. Spring Trap cannot throw Golem and Hero because they count more than 15 men.
- If placing appropriately, the Spring Trap can destroy all the attacks, including Giant-Healer combo.
- Spring Trap usually doesn’t work with Goblin, because Goblins move too fast so it is hard to be sticky traps (when Spring Trap is activate, the Goblin has already moved away so it cannot be influenced). However, in some case the Goblin will stop on Spring Trap for few seconds (eg stop to attack the wealth of resources), the Goblin will be trapped, like Barbarian or Archer. So, if there is a group of Goblin passing to the Spring Trap, the Goblin go after will be pushed because others Goblin has escaped the impact zone.

2. The defense strategy
- Putting Spring Trap near or around Town Hall to help repel a large number of soldiers approached.
- Placing Spring Trap in the gaps of the wall. Soldiers will try to go through the gaps rather than break the wall to go through, so they will get trapped soon. However, remember that Spring Trap can be used only 1 time and if it not be restored after each toss, there will leave gaps in the wall.
- Be more careful, you can also put it after the wall so the enemy must have to go through spring trap in order to attack the nearby building.
- You can set the standard Spring Trap in the center of defense buildings to destroy Giant or between resource buildings to destroy Goblin.
3. Addtions
- Currently only Spring Trap cannot upgraded. (Previously there are also Pumpkin Bomb and Santa Strike 2 however now these traps are no longer available).
- Because Spring Trap does not skill soldiers, soldiers are just pushed away.
